Date: 2003-11-05 04:03 pm (UTC)Something which wouldn't fit is mindless abuse (this is the kind of stories I decline everytime) or sugarsweet fluff (also a no-no). As you already know, humor too has a difficult stand with us. ;-)
What I'm looking for in a story is (besides the plot) an interesting relationship between its male characters -- something emotional gripping, something which thrills and surprises me. If you have submissive characters I love to see them showing a bit of a spine. Feisty Ukes as the yaoi girl would say.
the dark non-con aspect is important but if the story has me and my editors in its thrall without it -- we'll take it with a kiss. :-)

Date: 2003-11-05 04:27 pm (UTC)I don't write submissive men, so no worries on the feisty uke front. Strong-willed men fighting for dominance, both arrogantly sure of their own power is what I have.
So dark noncon is OK for this zine?
