Date: 2004-04-25 03:17 pm (UTC)As a magazine we're focussed on male/male relationship stories (love stories, friendship stories, or just very intimate enemy stories etc) in dark settings. Meaning male characters need to be the main players in your story. And dark settings ... Well that simply means harsh times for your characters. Slavery, prostitution, war, clash of cultures/societies, class differences etc. A lot of our stories have scenes of non-consenual sex between males. If you go dark give us several shades of gray, not one-dimensional evil. We're romantics, we love happy ends. Please look up the issues that are already online for what kind of fiction we're likely interested in.
We're looking for original thrilling plots with twists, emotions, a solidly built world and characters that feel real enough keep our readers thirsting for more... Oh and language. Lush, ripe buttocks swellling, slick bosoms heaving and moist purple orbs glazing isn't it.
The submitted story should have your name (alias and the name you'd like to see on your story), address, email addy and a short author bio on the first page. The story should be in word or rtf.

And fear not, I've been writing slash for years now, am a big fan of well-developed characters (if they are beautiful villains all the better ^_^ ) and the more complex the better.
I don't know how graphic the story will turn out to be just yet, but I'm trying my best to make it as exciting as possible. If I won't like the way it came out, then I won't submit it - and I'm my harshest critic.
Er... something else. I hope it's not a problem if I use Standard British English. It's what they teach us in my country.
