Squee and squee :-)
Jan. 3rd, 2006 08:49 pmGot my Secret Santa Gift!!! Yeahhhhh. Thank you so much oh generous Secret Santa, you gave me "Finder Series 2: Cage in the Finder" Drool Drool Drool.
((hugs)) No more funny looks from the sales people at my comic bookshop, hahaha!
Love Feilong - he's imo a character much better developed than Akihito. The drama of his family! What will happen with him and Asami? Fuu. Fuu. Fuu ;-)
Looks like my postal service held back on the true goodies till after christmas (perhaps anticipating my reluctance to start working again?) :-)
Mycean your package arrived!! Thank you for the beautiful gift! I'll have to let out my inner artist this year :-) ((hugs))
Oi. And you wouldn't believe it, I got even more...
Thank you so much Susan for the Loveless goodies!!! I confess my unholy love for Soubi-kun has reached new heights. I'll start learning japanese again (I spoke some when I was in university). Ah. Soubiiii!
(hugs)
My first "Wellness" holidays ever I spend in in Brandenburg (which definitely looks a lot like home, a flat farming country without scenic attractions -- thankfully it snowed a lot.)
While the Ayuveda Treatment was nice it also was very draining - I slept a lot (and slept badly, so badly my friends tell me that I talked in my sleep... snarling that they should stop hopping about like rabbits...They were definitely cowed in the morning. @_@ I know now that I'm a nazi when it comes to my beauty sleep. Oh dear.
The hotel in the castle only served breakfast and with us getting the full works of ancient asian beautification rites we all developed ravenous appetites. The little village around the castle didn't have any shops. Thankfully some castle attendants brought cake (from their own christmas tables??) to the lounge, so we had a lot of cake in the evening. Cake was free, hot water they charged 1 Euro a cup. Which is really why we ate all their cakes and didn't tip.
And I won't write about our one time excursion into the village for food -- only that we were stupid enough to dine at a restaurant which kept their watchdog in a bucket... ;-) You don't believe me?
( A typical german watchdog... in a bucket @_@ )
