Dec. 21st, 2004 02:58 pmSend out a lot of packages today. Late, I know, but still I feel pretty good about it. Work has *finally* slowed down from the mad rush of projects-to-be- finished-just-before-christmas to the bother-me-again-next-year phase.
I'm trying for a zen attitude.
Freelance work for Administration departments seem to follow some kind of natural flow... Next year will start slow and a bit angsty (budget) then they'll pick up the pace with Eastern Holidays approaching (finally a budget!) after that we'll have another slump until everyone (except us freelancers) starts to prepare for the summer holidays. ((summer heat--brain death)) Then once more a brisk start into the autumn, followed closely by a trip or two to a health resort (not by yours truly) with minor deadline stress before those events for the boss should have something on his table to remind him that his civil servants are truly productive and deserve a rest once in a while: Proof is that their freelancers are rotating like mad in their absence.
A phase of angst just before the end of the year (budget) and then the typical pre-christmas rush.
I'm sure nothing changed since roman times ;-).
Hah, got my copy of Yaoi-con anthology. And presents!!! ((hugs fearless leader-sama))
Ohh, pretty pretty anthy. I'm sure I'll find a lot of things I did wrong but right now I'm INSANELY happy that I helped creating this.
Next year's will be even better :-) :-)
