Erlenmeyer did so, and the flatfoot who turned up, one Sherlock Ohms,
said the outrage looked like the work of an arch-criminal by the name
of Lawrence Ium.

"We must be careful -- he's a free radical, ultraviolet, and
dangerous. His girlfriend is a chlorine at the Palladium. Maybe I can
catch him there." With that, he jumped on his carbon cycle in an
activated state and sped off along the reaction pathway ...

I'm such a sucker for a good quote. My webmaster and me both are. He set up a virtual fortune cookie engine that throws out things like this once I log on to the system. I think it's a bit like reading your daily horoscope -- and of course I had a truly wacky very funny conversation today with by chief's boss, my favorite collegue (Garbage Departement) and my cynical webmaster. :-)
But the shark story fit the day better. :-) :-)
